Maps are ideal to promote the property if it is ever on the market to be sold.  Maps can display the property to the world.  The hidden infrastructure including irrigation lines, power and phone lines can be displayed as well as the areas of each paddock or fenced area.  That kind of information cannot be shown by an aerial photo.
