Interactive Maps are the way of the future for use on the Web.  In Australia, there appears to be a resistance to using Interactive Maps.

Interactive maps take the viewer from a map to a web site by a simple “click”.

Such maps entertain web surfers making their web experience more enjoyable and entertaining which guarantees repeat business.

Also, interactive maps can also be downloaded and used as location maps.

Try “GB District Wine” above.  It is interactive and will take you to the web sites of all the wineries.  ALSO, it can be printed by the viewer and used when he arrives on the Granite Belt.

For some reason the local tourist group refuses to use this map.

Ballandean Estate Wines is an interactive winery map.  By “clicking” on a patch of grapes, the viewer is taken to new pages of information about that wine.
