Most Show Societies have limited funds to spend on maps.  Also, it is often difficult for a committee to allocate funds for an item such as a map.

However, for promotion of the Show, for locating of the venue and for organizing the event, maps are vital.

Alan produced the map of the Glen Innes Showground as a promotion for Glen Innes at no charge.

The Primex Casino Location map was produced as Alan found it difficult himself to find the venue when he visited.

The Caboolture High School map also shows the kind of detail that could be of use in organizing a show and allocating spaces to the numerous stall holders at the show.

These maps can be used:

• On the internet to promote the show
• On notice boards at the show or in the office to aid in communication
• As printouts to the numerous people who work at or who visit the show grounds, and
• As a record of the hidden detail in the form of water pipes, electricity lines, power outlets etc, etc.
